Entopia

Entopia is a unique learning center where visitors can explore the environment’s wonders and appreciate nature’s beauty.

Formerly known as the Penang Butterfly Park, its new name, Entopia, combines “Entomology” and “Utopia.”

Entomology, a branch of zoology, focuses on the study of insects, while Utopia represents an ideal fictional world of perfection.

Entopia’s mission is to promote experiential learning and inspire visitors to reconnect with nature.

Visitors can witness flying insects like butterflies and dragonflies and observe beetles, grasshoppers, spiders, scorpions, caterpillars, and other invertebrates in their natural habitats.

Moreover, visitors can encounter rare reptiles and amphibians in their recreated environments.

The exhibition at Entopia showcases over 150 species of fauna (including invertebrates and other animals) and more than 200 species of flora.

Visitors can learn about the crucial role of butterflies in the ecosystem, including their classification, habits, structure, life cycle, distribution, evolution, and extinct species.

Entopia encompasses two worlds: The Natureland, consisting of outdoor living gardens, and The Cocoon, an indoor discovery center.
