Who We Are
Introduction
Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve (PHBR) covers a total land area of 12,481 hectares, about 25 percent northeast area of Penang Island.
The natural habitat hosts more than 2,000 flora and over 500 fauna species. PHBR’s species diversity as a result from the three major ecosystem types: terrestrial, coastal, and marine.
